Long-Distance Married Couples Allowed Inter-State Travel

In a press conference today, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that long distance married couple who is living apart due to work now can do inter state travel starting on Wednesday (Jan,27).

“The National Security Council special meeting has heard their appeal, and we have agreed to give some flexibility. and he added “They can now do inter-state travel to be with their spouse and family starting tomorrow, ” he said on Tuesday (Jan 26). - (Scoured : The Star )

According Ismail Sabri, police permission is required before making the journey, and those with symptoms are advised to do a swab test first to ensure they are cleared from Covid-19 so as to not infect their family members. -(Scoured : The Star )
