Dining in at restaurants now allowed, limited to two per table

Feb 9, Dining in at restaurant now allowed starting tomorrow limited to two people per table and with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs), says Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

At a press conference today, Ismail Sabri Yaakob also said that the retail sector would be allowed to reopen subject to sanitation three times a day as well as other standard operating procedures (SOPs) including the use of masks, temperature checks, and physical distancing.

"Restaurant owners must also ensure sufficient workers to monitor the entry of customers and registration of personal details via MySejahtera or manually.

"There must not be overcrowding in the restaurant and physical distancing must be maintained at all times," he said.
