Couple assaulted for asking Datuk to lower their voice at a steamboat restaurant.

Last Thursday, police have arrested two man one is a 42-year-old with man with a "Datuk" title, along with a 39-year-old man after 51 second long video went viral on media social for assaulting another customer and his girlfriend at a restaurant in Tropicana Avenue Petaling Jaya.

According police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Nik Faisal revealed that the incident started because the suspects were told to lower their voice by the couple in the restaurant. Then suspect went on RAMPAGE mode and start hitting the young man (who is a Datuk son btw) and slapping his girlfriend at the restaurant before leaving the scene.

From the 51 second long video (Click here to see the video) , you can see the Datuk pushing and hitting the poor guy while people around him tries to hold him back.

Nik Ezanee said "Both suspects who were drunk attacked the person who made the complaint," .

Currently both suspects have been arrested and the "Datuk" has a criminal record for criminal intimidation.

Lets not use violence to settle our problem shall we?
