CNY reunion dinners ‘allowed’ not more than 15 family members living within 10km radius

In a statement Sunday (Feb 7), The National Unity Ministry said, family reunion dinners for Chinese New Years' will be permitted.

It is said that it would be limited to 15 family members living within a 10KM of each other, and without crossing district or state boundaries.

The government had been under public fire since it first announced a prohibition on Feb 4 the reunion dinners this Chinese New Year and prayers, and today KPN said that it agrees that the CNY celebration SOP needed to be improved.

Religious activities at the temple on 11, 12, and 19 February are also permitted under the updated SOP

At least some of us don't have to eat alone during "chu xi".
