All Essential Businesses Allowed to operate until 10pm

Last week, it was announced that during MCO all restaurants can operate until 10 pm for take-away only.

At the press conference on Jan 28, Senior minister for security Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the National Security Council has agreed to extend opening times for all businesses in essential sectors until 10 pm starting January 29.

Businesses allowed to operate include:

• Grocery stores

• Convenience stores

• Pharmacies

• Pet food stores

• Laundromats

• Sundry stores

• Optometric stores
