Viral That PDRM Officer’s Death After Receiving COVID-19 Vaccine Is FAKE,Action Will Be Taken

Police have denied allegations that went viral on social media claiming that a policeman in Perak had died after receiving his second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine shot.
-The message stated that Corporal Rakmin Yusoff, 58, died in Gerik Hospital's emergency unit after he was purportedly brought there around noon on April 3.
In a response, Perak Police Chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said that the respective policeman was still alive and currently being treated at the Taiping Hospital due to a heart attack.
“He has regained consciousness and in stable condition and will be referred to the National Heart Institute soon,” he said, according to BERNAMA.
Meanwhile, Perak police chief Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the police have received information linking the allegation to a Facebook user known as Junaidah June.
Action will be taken against the owner of the social media account for spreading fake news and causing concern among the public about receiving the vaccination.
"The family of the said police member (Rakmin) was affected by this irresponsible act," Mior said in a statement.
As of now, there are still many Malaysians who have yet to register for the Covid-19 vaccine, only about 31 percent of the total population in Malaysia has registered. According to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba, the second phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme will start on 17 April 2021.
