Why charge your phone thru your lousy cable when you can charge your phones thru "air"?

On 29th Jan 2020 Xiaomi announced their revolutionary Mi Air Charge Technology that could make your cables and charging stands outdated!

Welcome to the future! or should I say THE FUTURE IS HERE!

This "Mi Air Charge Technology" allows you to charge multiple devices simultaneously without any cables or charging stands.

Using a system made up of 144 antennas that helps to transfer energy to your smartphone in the form of extremely narrow millimeter-wide wave beam. This air-purifier look alike charger is able to detect a Xiaomi smartphone is nearby and through space positioning plus energy transmission, it will charge the phone remotely at 5W.

If this isn't the future I don't know what is then. Time to change new phone too.
