South Korean rapper Iron found dead outside of an Apartment in Seoul

The 29-year-old Rapper, Iron or with his real name Chung Heon-Chul was found dead outside of a building in Seoul yesterday (January 25, 2021).

According to South Korean news outlets, he was found bleeding and lying on the grass outside an apartment building by a security guard at around 10.25am and was pronounced dead before being transported to hospital.

Soompi report that Seoul Jungbu Police Station confirmed the rapper's death.

“We were called in by an (apartment) guard who told us they discovered Iron. He was taken to the hospital, but he passed away.

“At this point, it is unclear whether or not Iron died by suicide. We are investigating the exact cause of his death,” the authority was quoted saying.

The 29-year-old Rapper is best known is a South Korean variety show "Show Me The Money 3" and released his first album, Rock Bottom which attracted a lot of controversy due to a track that mention rape fantasy.

He was also given suspended prison sentences for assaulting a girlfriend and for drug abuse. It was also reported last month that the rapper attack an 18-year-old minor with a baseball bat.
